On the ground floor of the villa, you’ll find a large living room with a fireplace and kitchen, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms with showers, and a bedroom with two twin beds. On the first floor is a double bedroom with a bathroom and shower, but the real surprise here is the stunning terrace with its amazing views. It’s the perfect place to watch the sunset or enjoy the quiet evening, possibly while enjoying a glass of local wine.
Each room has a private bathroom (2 bedrooms have a shared one) with hairdryer, satellite TV and air conditioning. The villa is furnished in a manner that corresponds to the history of the area and its traditions.
Guests are welcome to cook their meals in the ample dining area on the ground floor. All our produce is grown in our own vegetable garden or on local farms. Everything here is farm to table, or, as they say in Italy, 0 km, meaning it is locally sourced.
The decor of the living room, which is connected to the kitchen area in true rustic elegance, has also been done in Tuscan tradition: the fireplace, made of pietra serena stone and terracotta bricks, was once the center of the family, with members gathering around it to tell their stories on long winter evenings.
The home, both livable and dynamic, is in perfect harmony with the exterior of the Villa. It’s classic, yet completely modern: there’s an electric oven, air conditioning, and a dishwasher. Available for guest use are also a washing machine, dryer, and iron.
The rooms relay the style of the Villa. Each detail is designed with your comfort and vacation in mind. In the room that looks out over the garden, the hues of the walls shift from light blue to periwinkle, reflecting the flowers outside, and in particular the lavender and rosemary bushes. The ceiling, with its exposed beams, ties us to our traditions and conveys warmth and coziness. The green hues that slowly fade into pastels are our ‘link’ to the range of trees on the grounds: the Tuscan cypresses and the olive tree grove. The entire Villa is equipped with Wi-Fi.
The first floor view opens onto the Valdichiana hills, its slopes adorned with vineyards and olive groves. The room offers a cozy but airy ambience, enhanced by warm shades of orange that fill the room with cheer. A small, private living room with armchairs and tables leads to the terrace, which is perfect for chatting or sipping a glass of wine from one of the many local wineries. Sangiovese and Syrah are the traditional grapes grown here, but there’s also a wide selection of whites and sparkling wines for aperitifs and special dinners.
The separation of the house into double rooms and rooms with twin beds offers versatility, meeting the needs of families and/or groups of friends. We at Corte delle Stelle are happy to meet your every need. In fact, our goal is to pamper our guests, to offer careful and attentive service, and to share our world—our history, people, and events. The bathrooms have also been remodeled in a perfect balance between tradition and innovation.
Spacious and relaxing showers, wrought iron fixtures, and elegant country chic capture the mood of a truly Tuscan experience. The fabrics of the bed linens in the rooms have been carefully selected by the owners of the Villa to give guests a feel for the culture of the place.
The Annex is like a jewel box, filled with both Tuscan traditions and all things modern: the golden yellow walls reflect the warmth of the Valdichiana sunshine and all its beneficial effects. We think our guests will appreciate the dynamism of the space, with its sofa and armchairs, and one entire wall dedicated to the TV and other technology.
The Annex can accommodate up to two people. In keeping with the Micheli family philosophy, this space is included in the package designed for families or groups, and is never rented out on its own. Our attention to details is evident here, too. The remodeling of the hay barn was done in such a way that it connects the interiors to the exteriors through warm illumination, bringing comfort and warmth to the entire environment.
